Hi everyone,
Recently I have tried to port VLC to Android. I used the VLC version
from the VLC Android group
http://git.videolan.org/?p=vlc/vlc-android.git;a=summary
It can play some videos from SDcard. But when I streamed a video from
window/linux to android, this VLC application was killed suddenly. The
MRL of receive stream is "udp://@<IP address>:<port>".
After that, I searched and found that one guy, "playing", was
researching about streaming and receiving of VLC android. Thanks to
him, I can added module live555 to VLC android. However, that work
didnt resolve the issue.
I also found that Android Emulator has a NAT protocol. Its address is
10.0.2.2, and maybe there's something different with the address that
I dont know how to use.
The error of the logcat is something like process terminated by signal
(11).
Does Android support Streaming like UDP or RTP/RSTP? What IP address
and Port must I use?
