NDK r28 is now available in the stable channel of the SDK manager (use ndkVersion = "28.0.13004108" in your build.gradle.kts file) and for download from our website.
r28 is not an LTS release, so it will be supported until the release of NDK r29. r27 is the current LTS release and remains supported until July 16th or the release of the next LTS, whichever comes later.

The major changes in this release are an updated LLVM, and 16KiB page size compatibility mode has been enabled by default.
