NDK r27 is now available in the stable channel of the SDK manager (use ndkVersion = "27.0.12077973" in your build.gradle.kts file) and for download from our website.
r27 is the new LTS release. The support window for r26 will remain open until 18 September 2024 (one year from its first release), but as of right now there are no further r26 releases planned. NDK r27 will remain in support until this time next year or the next LTS release, whichever comes later.
