écoHackMTL - Invitation for Android Montréal

Hello,
I am writing you because we are organizing the first « Green » hackathon in Montréal and I wanted to get in touch directly to invite Android Montréal members to participate.
EcoHackMTL is the first hackathon dealing directly with urban sustainability in Montréal! On Saturday October 19, 2013, developers, data geeks, municipal and community organizations members will join their efforts to help transform the city. With an unprecedented format, ecoHackMTL is the opportunity to work with open data regarding topics like urban agriculture, urban mobility, air and water quality, etc.
How could Android Montréal participate? We need you!! You could be participants in the hackathon, answer challenges from partners, or be « super-consultants» on the day of the ecoHack itself.
EcoHackMTL is offering you:
· Open data, some previously unreleased, provided by the Ville de Montréal;
· An opportunity to work with members of Open North , Santropol Roulant, Montréal Urban Ecology Center, la Ville de Montréal, Open Montréal, Alternatives et Rue publique;
· And a user base for apps to be developed.
These are some of the reasons that ecoHackMTL has recently won official recognition from the Table de concertation sur les données ouvertes de la Ville de Montréal.

Also, I want to invite you to our 5 @ 7 on Thursday September 19 at Notman House, with a DJ, food and beer!! It will be the opportunity to know more about the projects, the challenges and the network of participants that are part of ecoHackMTL.
