Chromebook (Acer R11 / Samsung) - USB MIDI issue for Android App

Could someone please assist why Acer R11 or Samsung Chromebook does not detect USB MIDI while connecting to a MIDI keyboard? (using MobileSheets Pro playstore app on Chromebook).

This app's MIDI setting identifies the keyboard correctly as KORG PA900 but simply says "connecting.... "  without any communications - Thanks,
