If it is running Android 4.1, the app is not available. You can thank
Google for that. In their infinite wisdom they deliberately crippled
the log functionality in Android 4.1, so that an app can read only its
own log entries, which effectively makes third party log collectors
useless.

Google deliberately crippled the log functionality in Android 4.1, so
that an app can read only its own log entries, which effectively renders
third party log collectors useless. So far there is no solution for that.
