User mode linux?

Will User mode linux run on an android device? (if a kernel is
recompiled appropriately) ?

why?  you already have multiple qemu emulation environments.  What doe UML provide over those?

FWIW I'm sure it could be done.  (well, maybe binder will screw you but it would be fixed and would be a good learning experience.)

the idea is to provide an isolated environment to execute android apps
I don't really trust.

Are you talking about running a UML android inside an Android? 

Hmm.... how are you going to protect the persistent storage and make it usable?  (well, not my problem. )

FWIW you should go for it.  I think you can totally make something work, mostly.
