The only way ive found to work is chroot into an ubuntu or debian image and apt-get macspoofer...it works with both wireless/gsm on my g2. Dont know bout nexus though :/
For ease of use, check out backtrack's ARM image (you do need root for this, btw) at backtrack-linux.com. its a rather involved process that basially installs a full linux distro onto a partion on your sdcard. you might want to check out the macspoofer source and see if you cant cross-compile with ndk, though I imagine the lack of the libc6 library will cause some problems. I cant get into more detail atm, but if you message me later I can provide some more details if youd like
But shouldn't using the busybox's ifconfig (in case android's ifconfig
doesn't support the command) - be easier ?

it should. but for some reason it doesnt work on my device. others might have better luck.
