No Android option in device driver of menuconfig for android-msm-2.6.27, donut?

am still stuck with http://groups.google.com/group/android-kernel/browse_thread/thread/6626772d282e47d3.

Any help is appreciated.

But while trying to find a way for the above problem, some confusion
cropped up when using menuconfig.

Today I downloaded or git all the different branch for the kernel/
msm.git and branch for the following kernel on my machine Ubuntu 8.10:

android-msm-2.6.29-donut, android-msm-2.6.27,

for both when I issue the command make msm_defconfig (am surprised
that it works without telling me that msm_deconfig does not exit in
the folder /arch/arm/x86 as opposed to when using the android-msm-
htc-2.6.25)

Then I issue make menuconfig to add some option,

But I want to ask that is it normal that when we go in the Device
Driver option----> and look for Android--->, we cannot find the
Android option for android-msm-2.6.29-donut, android-msm-2.6.27?

Whereas when I used android_msm_2.6.25, I can see the option for
Android in the Device Driver option of menuconfig.

I is creating a little confusion in my mind (since wrestling and

Your clearance on the matter will solve my confusion

You may try "ARCH=arm make msm_defconfig".
