Can we build and run only Dalvik VM on a SOC based on ARM11?

 hope to get only Dalvik VM & core lib running on a ARM11 based SOC without application framework. In other words, I want to use Dalvik VM as plain JVM. Anyone who knows how to build only Dalvik VM and core lib for the other SOC and how to run plain java code on top of that?
