I have purchased the developer key using in-app purchase, however the program won't see it it keeps asking for me to repurchase. I have verified that the purchase has gone through.

I have tried reinstalling, deleting cache, and I have tried repurchasing the developer key. None of it seems to work

Is there anything else I can do to make the program recognize that I have purchased the developer key.

I had a similar problem just today reported by two people on two different apps. One of them called Google.
And the other asked me as a developer. So I read the advice on stackoverflow and provided my user with the same advise as Google.

In both the cases, the solution was cleaning the Google Play cache. Sometimes purchase flows are not successful, or Google is changing something there, and a mistake may happen and get cached. As a result IAB Helper simply fails to initialize to check the license.

So, it would be useful trying to clean all google related caches, especially Google Play, as all transactions pass through there, as far as I understood.

I, too, am having this issue, and deleted the Play app caChe and data, but it still won't recognize my license on a fresh install. Any advice?

Try compiling an app in spite of any warnings. It should disappear then.

@Andrew If clearing cache and data was not successful, just contact AIDE support via sup...@appfour.com - there are some other reasons to consider. E.g. this behavior can show when using Xposed Framework. In this case you would get a refund.

@Trixi, I had also thought it was an issue of cache. But, last time I cleaned and rebooted my tablet a month ago - and re-installed Aide first thing on the clean system.

It took me a couple of hours to fight that "buy-the-program" nagger - nothing helped whatsoever....

I was going to write to the support team already, but, first I tried running my app in defiance of the nagger - and Oh My Holy Granny!!! The Magic happened at last. It compiled no problem and the nagger vanished.

So, in general, there are two small bugs in AIDE:

1. The premium key control is not working properly.
2. There is a reproducible crash on Find in the file, if not exited the dialog properly. It was already reported in G+ by somebody about 6 months ago. It was not resolved. Crash reports were sent off.

Other than that (which I consider minor issues) - AIDE works perfectly.

@Eugene Thank you, I will open an issue on both bugs, could not find this documented in the internal issue tracker.  Could you also send your device specs to sup...@appfour.com so I can add to the issue for easier evaluation on point 1). I am not able to reproduce. Thanks, Trixi.

Thank you Trixi.

I sent there a letter with the following content:

Hello!

Following the conversation with Trixi, I would like to report the steps that cause problems with reactivation and find word in Aide.

ERROR 1 - REACTIVATION

1. I have purchased Premium version of Aide and UI builder about a year ago.
2. Now, a month ago - I clear the tablet from Aide completely, including the .hidden folders, everything (in fact I hard reset the tablet).
3. After hardreset I reinstall Aide from Google Play - it asks me to purchase the Premium.
4. I go to Google Play and install the key that I purchased a year ago.
5. Aide - continues asking me to purchase the Premium functions in spite of the key installed. Clearing cache etc. does not help.
6. Only when I press the Compile icon in spite of the warning that I need to purchase Aide - Aide recognizes the key and the Premium dialog vanishes forever.

This error happened twice - a month ago, and 6 months ago - each time I had to make a clean reinstall of Aide.

ERROR 2 - FIND WORD CRASH

1. Open a java file
2. Proceed to Menu - More - Find - Find in File
3. Find a word
4. Without closing the Find dialog, open another file from the side sliding File Manager
5. Press the x button in the Find dialog to clear it.
6. Press the left-arrow button in the Find dialog while the Find dialog empty > Crash occurs. I sent a report.

DEVICE:

Samsung Tab S, Android 6.1, Firmware, unrooted.

Sincerely,
Eugene Kartoyev

@Eugene
Our team will do some testing, thank you for sending the email as well. I will add the content to the issues and communicate via email if further questions occur.
