Hi all. Before I had an Android 8.1 device and AIDE did work just fine. Now, on Android 10, after some time after AIDE install pass, when I try to compile my Android project I'm getting AAPT Error. I have root access, so I look at AIDE's logs and saw that there's an IOException happens around AAPT. The only thing that helps is reinstall of AIDE, but soon this story begins again. I wouldn't like to reinstall it everyday. I've tried to write an e-mail to sup...@appfour.com but my message wasn't sent because "it was classified by group sup...@appfour.com as spam" (nice support! :D). I hope at least that community here knows something about this issue and what could I do.

P.S. sorry if my English is not perfect

Dmitry,

One of the reasons I've lost faith in Google!  They are constantly moving the target!  It's a nightmare for developers.

In AIDE's setting, try: Build & Run->Refresh Maven repository

I don't have access to Android 10 outside of an emulator and I'm going from my not-so-reliable memory, so if that doesn't work, clear AIDE's cache.

I guess you'll just have to wait for them to update the app. There are so many issues with AIDE on Android 10 and 11

I've noticed that it happens only when I do some changes in root filesystem. For example, if I remount filesystem to install binary files into bin folder. Even after I return it to back state and reboot system error remains and cache clear doesn't help. It seems that refreshing of Maven repository also doesn't help. I checked if AAPT lose it's permissions to be executable but its permissions are unchanged so it's a big mystery why it stops to work. By the way, I also can't perform direct install of app using my root, I get an exception of that it was denied, and AIDE tells me to disable this feature.
