Changes since last time we spoke (1.3.4). All you should know about our latest releases and what's coming very soon.

First the newer stuff, for those of you that have kept upgrading, and hopefully found out about FrostWire Plus and why we had to distribute a limited edition of FrostWire on Google Play.

One of the biggest requests we've had has is finally in final stages of development for its first iteration, Music and Video Download Previews and Play while you download.

On our next FrostWire release, FrostWire Plus users will be able to play YouTube and SoundCloud search results before they decide to download them, so in a way FrostWire is becoming a streaming app.

As for torrents, the experience will be very much like on desktop, you can only start playing your download seconds or minutes after you start the download (as FrostWire will try to first ask for the initial pieces of the file, and after it has enough it gets back to downloading pieces normally), this is an upgrade that will also be available to FrostWire Basic users on Google Play.
It's an excellent feature for very long video files as you don't have to wait for the whole download to finish to start watching, so... in a way .torrent audio and video streaming.

FrostWire 1.4.4 - JANUARY/29/2015
- Finished transfers no longer should show as paused.
