With older Qemu, we were using the nested virtualization(like Ravello) to run emulator on server farm with Xen. Upstream QEMU has XEN has an accelerator.

Is my understanding correct that we should be able to run android emulator from qemu-android directly on a Xen without using a nested virtualizer?

Thanks,
Rishi

Changing the subject. I meant android emulator with x86 image and not ARM image.

After looking at this more, it does not seem to be possible to run this on AWS HVM instances. I have not been able to find the domU id itself on AWS HVM instances to be able to try enabling XEN acceleration.

I don't think we plan to support Xen in any way, since we don't have any use case for it, not any setup to test it anyway.
I'm pretty sure the classic emulator will never be capable of it, maybe the qemu-android might be made to support it, if the patches aren't too significant though.
