Hi Android Dev Campers,

Thanks so much for the awesome Android Dev Camp. With a full house
packed with Android enthusiasts of all stripes, I think we definitely
showed the level of excitement for the G1 phone and the Android
platform.

Memories
You can relive the great day through photos on Flickr:

Most of the presentations are on SlideShare:

There were lots of great blog posts about the event:

Google Group
We've set up a Google Group to make communicating with your fellow dev
campers as easy as possible: http://groups.google.com/group/android-dev-amsterdam/

Android Challenge
Of course, Android development doesn't stop with the Dev Camp! You
have just a few weeks to put together a rockin' submission for our
competition of the best Dutch Android apps. There are lots of Dutch
APIs you could use, including from Nu.nl, Mobypicture, Hyves,
SpecialBite, ING and Huizenzoeker, so let your mind run wild. Of
course, you don't have to use any of them! Check out the wiki -
http://androiddevcamp.nl - and the Google Group for more details,
including the announcement of when the submission form is live. You
will have until 09.00 on January 26 to submit your application.

Judging
The apps will be judged by a jury made of representatives from T-
Mobile, Google, Mobile Monday, and the ADCA organizing team. The
judges pick five winners based upon user experience, uses of available
technology, innovation, uniqueness, and whether the app is useful or
is useless but fun.

Prizes
All submitted apps which work will be posted on a T-Mobile microsite.
The five winners will receive a G1, complete with a year's paid
contract. The winners will be presented at a T-Mobile press conference
on January 29 and will also be part of T-Mobile's advertising campaign
for the G1 phone. The creators of the very best app will also receive
a return ticket to San Francisco!

More to Come
Join the Google Group and follow us on Twitter (@adca) to hear what
else we have in store for you. Android is just starting in the
Netherlands, so stay tuned for more news and Happy Android Hacking!
