Job Requirement:

·         Develops new software applications, and supports current applications.

·         Handles development tasks in all software tiers including user interface, web service, business logic, integration, and database.

·         Analyzes and determines integration needs.

·         Creates and evaluates software designs, test results and technical manuals.

·         Creates and reviews technical design documentation.

·         Works with Quality Assurance team to confirm that applications fit specification and technical requirements.

·         Works with Database Administrators and Architects to confirm that database elements meet performance and storage requirements

·         Displays knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills, and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty.

·         Displays knowledge of, and ability to apply, process design and redesign skills.

·         Displays in-depth knowledge of, and ability to apply, project management skills.

·         Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

 

Required Experience:

·         7+ years Java experience

·         7+ years J2EE experience

·         3+ years Oracle database experience including stored functions/procedures and triggers

·         2+ years developing REST services and clients

·         1+ years WebLogic or JBoss

·         3+ years using Spring

·         Experience using configuration management tools such as GIT, CVS or SVN

·         Experience using build tools such as ant or maven

·         Experience with Agile or XP methodologies

 

Desired Experience:

·         Experience with Cloud Development for Cloud Foundry, AWS, etc.

·         Experience with SpringBoot

·         Experience with SpringCloud

·         Experience with Spring JDBC Templates

·         Experience with Hystrix

·         Experience with Hibernate

·         Experience with NoSQL Databases such as Mongo, Couchbase, etc.

·         Experience with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, JMS, etc.

·         Experience with GoCD, Jenkins, Hudson and/or CruiseControl

·         Experience with GUI development

·         Experience with Apache Camel

·         Experience with unit testing tools such as Junit, Mockito, etc.

·         Experience with J2EE Design Patterns

·         Experience with Eclipse

·         Experience with Linux

·         Experience with SOAP web services and clients

·         Experience with Drool
