Job Description-
· Client is looking for Data Engineers who can build data pipelines to efficiently and accurately move data across systems, and can build the next generation of data tools to enable them to take full advantage of this data. They are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
Job Requirement
· Expert at data warehousing and has strong previous ETL experience, but not a tool jockey. Must have experience building ETL from scratch without using any tools
· We need people who are SQL gurus and can write very complex aggregate queries and then code it in Python or PERL
· Exceptionally strong data modeling skills (dimensional types)
· "Out of the box" thinkers who can build a data mart that can support multiple data sources and customize it for scalability
· 5+ years of experience with dimensional data modeling & schema design in Data Warehouses
· 5+ years of experience building web applications and expert knowledge of web technologies (HTML/CSS/JS)
· 2+ years of PHP & Python development experience is necessary
· 2+ years of efficient SQL (Oracle, Vertica, Hive, etc) experience is required
· 2+ years of LAMP stack development experience is necessary
· Background in Adware, advertising, marketing and/or sales a plus
· Computer Science degree from a top university is a plus
