Samsung Galaxy Tab Android tablet – Accessories on the loose

The Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000, the Android-based 7-inch tablet device, set to rival the Apple iPad, has not even been officially unveiled yet but we seem to finding out plenty of news on it so far and we’ve heard another snippet today.

Previously we compared what we knew about the tablet device and wondered if it could be a credible alternative to the iPad, then we learned that the device was confirmed as running on Android 2.2, and then just a few days ago we brought news of a video preview. Now today an article over on Slippery Brick by Conner Flynn, sourced from OLED-Display, tells us that accessories for the Samsung Galaxy Tab have been noticed on a Samsung online portal.

If nothing else this tells us that the rumors of the Samsung Galaxy Tab being officially launched at the IFA 2010 in Berlin next month, look more likely to be true than ever. Some of the accessories spotted are a Table Charging Station priced at $69 (€54) with HDMI and audio output ports, or a keyboard peripheral costing $105 (€82). There’s also a leather case listed at $52 (€41).

For more on this along with other accessories go to slipperybrick.com. Are you tempted by what you’ve seen so far about the Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet device? Alternatively maybe you’re more interested in the 7-inch version of the iPad rumored to be coming, or even the HP WebOS tablet device? We’d like to know your thoughts on this so please do send us your comments.
