Folks,

I'm pleased to announce that registrations for AndroidCamp are now open. Please reserve your seat from http://androidcamp.doattend.com

Tickets are priced at Rs 300. You get a 10% discount for paying online (use discount code "ONLINE"). Bulk registrations of five or more are further discounted. Your ticket buys you lunch, unlimited beverages at an all day beverage counter, and most of all, an event that's all about your interests because we don't have to capitulate to sponsor demands.

Fellow event participant Akash Manohar built a site over the weekend for everyone to post session ideas and vote on them. We'll get this going in a day.

I'll send an announcement to everyone who signed up for notifications later in the day, so you folks on this discussion group are getting early notice. Register now!

Bulk discount is not required!

This is not a corporate event. We want individual to come forward and share.

We don't want corporate sponsored people.

My two cents!

That's the startup discount. I just spoke with four students in Kerala
who are building an Android-based mapping app. They're looking for an
additional person so they can avail of the bulk discount. We should be
encouraging folks like them. They have the enthusiasm, have actual
working experience with Android, are attempting something non-trivial,
and could do with financial support. They aren't asking for free
tickets, just enough incentive to travel a long distance to attend on
a weekday.
