Use GCM to build android chatting application

Hello,

I want to build android application to allow for two users to communicate with each other over that application and I want to use GCM to implement that application.
Please, Guide me how to use GCM to perform messaging between android-android.

Maybe try firebase see https://www.firebase.com/

It may be a better fit.

GCM is for notifying a device. Time is not factored when sending. The chat application would have to wait a long time before receiving messages. Chat applications generally expect to receive data moments after being sent. There are better choices out there for chat functionality.
