Building Android 15 AOSP for Pixel 8 with hwasan

Hi, guys! I'm trying to build Android 15 for Pixel 8 with hwasan and userdebug  following the instructions: https://source.android.com/docs/core/architecture/16kb-page-size/build-flash-pixel8-16kb

However, after

export SANITIZE_TARGET=hwaddress
source build/envsetup.sh

lunch aosp_shiba_pgagnostic-trunk_staging-userdebug

I get the following:

00:09:37 Found blocked Android.mk file: external/coreboot/3rdparty/vboot/Android.mk. Please see androidmk_denylist.go for the blocked directories and contact build system team if the file should not be blocked.

Can you help me understanding the error message? Are there up-to-date instructions how to build an AOSP hwasan userdebug image for Pixel 8 device?

+Steven Moreland ... i suspect given that AOSP main is no longer
maintained (but _some_ projects are still updated in main) the build
instructions need to switch to a different branch, presumably the last
release that's actually open source?
