Developer warning for package com.android.messaging

When I build AOSP 10 (QP1A.191005.007.A1) I get the following error:

 

Developer warning for package “com.android.messaging”  Failed to post notification on channel “null”  See log for details

 

Which is word for word for the error that was fixed here:

Did it break again?

Due to the delay messages posting to the group, I was able to resolve this by adjusting the SDK version of 28 found here:

https://android.googlesource.com/platform/packages/apps/Messaging/+/refs/tags/android-10.0.0_r5/AndroidManifest.xml

down to "24".  Afterwards, I ran " mma messaging" followed by "adb install messaging" and the error message went away.
