Just downloaded the gingerbread source code form git using "repo init -
u ......-b gingerbread"
but when try to make (ubuntu 64 bit : 10.04 kernel :2.6.32 ) after
doing envsetup getting this error :

Could anyone please help me to resolve it ? thanks in advance.

As it says, you have 2 copies of BackupRestore in your source tree.

Hi ,

The Same application(BackupRestore ) package maybe  in two places of the android source package. Remove either one package. It may be compile. In My case i put the same application package in two places.the same error came for me. After removing one package i can able to build the system image.
