Hi Vaishali,

"Permission denied" hints that you may have previously run `sudo
make`, and now the files in `out` are only accessible to sudoers. You
should do `sudo rm -rf out` and try running make again without sudo.

Possible!
Looks like my environment was not setup correctly. I had already tried the build without proper environment. This might have messed up certain files in the downloaded code. I hv now downloaded a fresh android code and building this runs without any problem. So This is for those who helped n those who can be helped by my errors.
