trusty tee and hikey960

I'm trying to build AOSP along with the Trusty TEE and deploy it to a hikey960.

I've got Android Q and the hikey960 kernel built and working.  I've got Trusty built... but I'm not sure what the next step is.

Some questions:

1. The Trusty build page links to kernel/common branches.  Do these changes need to be merged over to the hikey960 kernel?
2. Does the AOSP build need to be told to include Trusty normal-world drivers / clients?
3. Where does the Trusty build image (lk.bin) get flashed to?

Did you have any luck with it so far?

I am also trying to work out Trusty + AOSP but can not find any useful resources.
