Building AOSP on a AMD C-60 (dual-core, 1000 MHz) processor is possible?

I have a Linux PC with this processor model and 8GB RAM but I can't build AOSP, tried various versions (8.0, 8.1, 9, 10), even with all required packages it either takes too long to build (probably intended) or the build processes (soong, jack, ninja) crashes almost all the time.
