I want to "fastboot update otapackage.zip" after the successful build of aosp kitkat but receive the message - error: update package has no android-info.txt or android-product.txt
If I try to flash the otapackage.zip with twrp 2.6.3.1, I reiceive this message too.

With "fastboot -w flashall" I can flash my device but it is wiped and all data is lost.

So, how can I update my device with a new build of an otapackage? (Incremental updates?)

otapackage is flashed through recovery. To use fastboot you must use the images.

fastboot flash system system.img

can install the built image while preserving data, although chances of incompatibility are present.
