Android Developer required - Melbourne

We need an Android expert to join the team.  

The applicant needs to have at least a few years doing significant Android development - we already have a bunch of professional developers of all sorts in our small group who could turn their hand to Android development given time, but we need someone to hit the ground running, so we need to bring someone else in that knows their Android stuff.  

The job is to write an app for Android tablets that talks to a REST server and is able to operate off-line with data cached on the device.  

This is a port of features from an existing IOS app to a new platform (no feature creep), but in terms of implementation basically a complete rewrite from scratch.  In under 6 months.  

You wouldn't be working alone, but you would be calling the shots in terms of Android implementation.
