MYOB is looking to expand its mobile development team!

This team develops the apps integrating with MYOB’s premiere accounting products and has just launched MYOB PayDirect.  Our upcoming scope of work is innovative, challenging and substantial, so the team is looking to expand now.  MYOB recognises that mobile and wearable devices are the way of the future and are increasingly looking to provide our clients with experiences on these devices.

When developing our software, present technologies we use are:

• Ruby and AWS for back-end services
• Ansible, Docker & Chef for environment provisioning
• Pure native app development using Java & Objective-C
• TestFlight and TestFairy for app beta testing
  

For Android development we also use:

• Android Studio
• Gradle
• RoboGuice
• Otto Event Bus
• Robotium and RoboSpock
  

Our process involves:

• Living and breathing agile and lean practices
• Continuous delivery for all apps and services
• DevOps, with developers provisioning and sustaining our environments
• Developers working on any aspect of the system (all apps and services)
• Building sustainable software by heavily investing in metrics & test automation
• Support for infrequent remote work
  

What we are looking for:

• A software craftsperson, someone who believes in the beauty of well-written and tested code
• Someone that believes mobile apps with test automation leads to better outcomes
• An all-rounder with a test-driven mindset that’s looking to gain more experience in mobile development
  

This is a permanent role.  You will be required to work primarily on-site in our Glen Waverley office.
