Horizontal Scrolling in Home Screen Widgets

Hi!
It seems HorizontalScrollView is not supported in home screen widgets. Is there another way to implement horizontal scrolling of a GridView in android home screen widgets?

no, google forbid it to avoid interaction errors with the launcher.

Isn't there a way to atleast implement the scrolling animation on click of a button? Like, whenever I click the Right button, the view slides to the left one column?
