ADK still used?

Hi there, 

I recently put my hands on an Arduino Mega ADK and was wondering if ADK is still relevant for communication between an Arduino board and an Android app?

ADK Toolkit developer here. Actually the project is not maintained anymore, so I don't know if it's still relevant or not. I guess if it's working, the API is still up-to-date because no further changes have been done to the ADK. On the other hand, I don't know if recent Android devices still support it.

Its seems that there's no more mentioning of ADK on Android Developer Documentation, but rather references to Android Open Accessory that may differ from ADK.
