Insight into Beekeeping

I am thinking about conducting  a one night  " So you are thinking about beekeeping " session. To introduce the basic things about beekeeping from the cost of getting started, diseases, time commitment, and a brief overview of a year of beekeeping. This would be to help people considering bee keeping  to make the right decision. I plan to hold the session at Edward Little High School in February.

My reasoning is - I have seen several people get in to bee keeping without attending any class and with really no idea as to what to expect.

Some thing it is easy I will buy some bees, set them up, and have all of the honey that I want with out any work.

So in an effort to get this off the ground I wanted to ask for advice, suggestions, and if anyone had done this or some thing like this and would be willing to share any presentation material  with me.
