Sorry, it has taken so long but with the change in location a days - we have  or had lost our note takers.

 

Highlights;

 

It was decided that if the club should dis-ban the money in the treasury would be donated to the MSBA or to a scholarship at Edward Little High School.  No they are no plans to dis -ban but I felt that it was important to have a plan ahead of any issues. The balance is $350.06 not bad for one year.

 

I have secured a new long term meeting location- it is at Edward Little High  School adult ed  - class room #134  The meetings will be held on the second Wednesday of the month start time is 6pm - club business and then speaker and or open discussion - close meeting at 0830 with a 0900 close time.  this will be in place starting in Dec.  Don't forget  Dec is the time for new officers of the club.  This is your club and we need members involved!

 

It was decided that membership will stay at $12.00 a year but one membership will cover the household/ per email.

 

It had been talked about giving a ABC coffee mug or hat to speakers that do not charge the club to speak. I will send out a separate email asking for feed back about this and about the club purchasing the current inventory of Club Items.  I will have the  items at each meeting  please support your club.

 

I have talked to Chris Rogers of BackWoods Bee Farm. He is willing to hold a beginners bee course at EL this spring - end of Feb through the end of Mar - good timing to be ready for the Spring kickoff of  new packages and nucs.  I need to know if there is any interest. Please ask around and let me know . Thanks.

 

Charlie Armstrong had a hive destroyed by a bear attack right in Auburn.

 

The annual MSBA meeting was held on 10/19- they had a great turn out. Standing room only. It was a great time to meet other BeeKeepers and make contacts.
