Hello

I have tried looking at the problem by using an SSH server on my phone and the directory do not have rwx rights for any other user then root.
The only place I can write is /storage/legacy/ which is my phones internal storage which is already cramped.

Thanks
A

Hello.

This is related to the access permissions in the android version.

Here is a way that would allow you to write to the external SD card:
Create the folder [EXTERNAL SDCARD]/Android/data/lutey.FTPServer/files (probably not possible with the FTPServer, you could just use a SD card reader for that).
The set this folder as your default directory in the preferences.
This is the app specific folder that the FTPServer is allowed to write to.

You could then access the files from that folder, other apps should be able to read from it.

I hope that helps.
Andreas

Hello Andreas

I stuck the SD into my Laptop, created the folder as sugested, changed the config of FTPServer, and away we go, works like a charm.

Thank you for an amazing tool, and excellent support.

Kind regards
Andre Smit (by the way the JJA is for JJ Andreas.... {:-.) which are dutch names. )

Hallo Andreas,

Horst Leistner
