Has anyone found an FTP server working for Android 6 and onward?

As I detail in the other thread (FTPserver and Android 6), I am unable to find any usable FTP server. I've looked for months, and purchased several, and they all have significant problems.

Has anyone found anything comparable to Andreas' FTPserver?  I would pay a lot for an app that just did what Andreas did that worked on newer Android.

Years later and I'm still looking for an Android FTP Server that works properly.   

Andreas, if you are done with your FTP server, maybe you could donate to the public domain and perhaps someone else could pick up development? I wish I was an Android developer, but unfortunately I am not able to volunteer.
