Good afternoon Jaguars! I wanted to send out some reminders and upcoming dates to everyone.
First, tomorrow is the District 2 Championships in Winfield. Attached is the tournament flyer with information about the tournament. We have 17 wrestlers representing our club and wish all of them the best of luck! Weigh-ins for the tournament will be conducted tonight at Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School from 6:00-8:00. Wrestling sessions tomorrow are as follows: 8:00 am for 12U and 14U (please have your wrestler there by 7:30 am to warm up); and 12:30 pm for 8U, 10U, and HS. If your wrestler is attending districts tomorrow, please sign the attached release form and turn it in to a coach at the start of wrestling tomorrow.
Second, for those wrestlers who make it to the state tournament, we will be ordering state t-shirts, and if you want to place an order, I will need to have your order and money before you leave the District tournament tomorrow. The t-shirts will be our jaguar design on the front (the design from the back of our club shirt) and a listing of all the state qualifiers with their age and weight divisions on the back. Black short sleeve cotton t-shirts are $8.00; black short sleeve wicking t-shirts are $10.00, and cotton hoodies are $18.00.
Third, we will be offering singlet returns and fundraiser deposits on Monday from 6:00-6:30 at the HS. Please return your wrestler’s singlet washed and in good condition to receive your refund.
Finally, we will have an end of season party for the kids at NorthRock Lanes on Thursday, April 2nd from 6:30-8:00. The club will provide pizza and soft drinks for all wrestlers. Any siblings and adults who would like pizza and soft drinks can participate for $2 per child sibling and $4 per adult. Adult beverages or other food orders are on your own. Please RSVP directly to me at ka...@coultislaw.com no later than Sunday by 10:00 p.m. with how many wrestlers/siblings/adults from your family will be at the party so we can preorder the pizza. We will also handle singlet returns and fundraiser refunds that evening.
Please note that any singlet and fundraising refunds not claimed by the party on April 2nd will be forfeited. We do not carry over and track these items from year to year.
