I see that "Mobile Atlas Creator" writes "AndNav Atlas Format" files.
I see that these can be used as Tile Sets in AndNav.
Where is the meta-data for these png file sets?
Is it in the file names?
e.g. A file named <Layer X>/Mapnik/11/835/1665.png.andnav some how
encodes the location?
I understand that the ../11/.. is the zoom level which I guess
specifies the height and width of the patch.
Where is the exact meaning of these things to be found?

Thanks

You can find the 'encoding' in the OpenStreetMap-Wiki.

Thanks
Can I presume that AndNav2 follows OpenStreetMap in many ways.

...which is related to...

Although the mechanism for dividing the world up is the same as for
quadtiles it encodes the data a bit differently.
