Here is a small patch for yahoo tiles displaying in andnav2.

I am not sure we are able to use them thought.

Please don't use them if there is any license incompatibility.

I'm affraid there is indeed a license incompatibility :

I think we should try to make to URLs user configurable. Maybe store them in a database and have a dialog to insert new ones. After all they follow roughly the same scheme.

This solution would need some reworking, because map projection is not
the same between yahoo and (google || openstreetmap). So x, y and zoom
are calculated differently.

It could be a cool enhancement, to have a way to store in the database
the url, and the map projection type. Then automatically knowing the
map projection, andnav2 calculates X, Y and zoom. There is a java
library called geotools http://geotools.org/ which does that. But
maybe it is too much for a simple navigation program like andnav.
