So, if I loan my car our, or simply lose a reciept, on the next time I
refuel, my gas mileage efficiency shoots through the roof. Is there a
way to exempt a certain refuel from the fuel efficiency calculations?

Hi,
As I understand, you missed to record a refuel and now your last MPG is wrong.
Don't worry. After the next full refuel record the last MPG will be showed correctly.
