Unable to restore from backup

I broke my phone, but wasn't too worried since I have automatic backups emailed to me weekly.  After installing AndiCar Pro on my new phone, I moved the latest backup file into the AndiCar backup folder.  When I started AndiCar, it asked if I wanted to restore from the backup file.  I chose yes.  It says it completed the restore and shuts down.  When I open it back up, though, there is no data and the app tells me I need to add a car to continue.  If I choose cancel, there is no data.

I've tried this with a few of the backup files I have, all with the same results.  I know the backup files aren't empty (57.7 KB).

Please help.

Hi,

The backup files sent to your email are zipped files. In order to be able to restore, you must unzip the file before copy it to your phone.
