Android (AndAR): Just want an flat 2D image overlay on the camera view for ModelViewer

Hi,

no documentation or anybody doing what I want in forums.

Just want an flat 2D image overlay on the camera view for or in the ModelViewer?

Using AndAR, just want to have a picture of a "hat" on the camera view overlayed.

How do I do that?  Please help.

Maybe render a 3d plane, and set the hat as the plane's texture? You would have to use a different projection (flat to the real camera POV)

I know it's tricky, but I think is the simplest way.

whats your opinion of the easiest and friendliest AR library to use?

V-uforia? others?

what to do AR on a video feed from interent, is there samples on those, i mean others must of done similar right?
