I am using the Interlinear Bible installed on AndBible from https://onedrive.live.com/?id=A34F8FA745052B04%21227&cid=A34F8FA745052B04 by installing HISB.zip and then downloading and unzipping the jsword.zip file. For some reason the formatting has stopped working on both my tablet and phone. I am guessing it has to do with recent changes to AndBible. The HISB Interlinear is usable without the formatting, but the formatting does make it more accessible. Would it possible to fix things so the formatting will work again?

Thanks,
Ivan Hipschman

Tuomas,

I apologize for being so late responding. I am almost certain the loss of formatting occurred with the upgrade of my phone and tablet from Android 9 to 10. I dug up an old, discarded phone which was on Android 6 which I haven't used for many months and installed the hisb.zip and the CSS files. It formatted correctly. I then updated ANDBible and the formatting held, so it is not recent changes to ANDBible that caused the issue. Unfortunately I can't upgrade the Android version on that phone, but I think that what I have done pretty well points to the change from Android 9 to 10 that is causing the problem.

Thanks for your willingness to look at this,
Ivan Hipschman

Looks like a similar issue as this: https://github.com/AndBible/and-bible/issues/636
As far as I understand Android 10 does not allow reading from the jsword folder any more.
You can add your custom files to  Android/data/net.bible.android.activity/files/ instead, and
I think it should work. But that folder will be deleted if AB is uninstalled.
This should provide better solution: https://github.com/AndBible/and-bible/issues/883

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried adding the custom files to Android/data/net.bible.android.activity/files/  but it didn't work. It sounds like you are working on a better solution. This is not a major issue for me, so especially if I am the only one with this issue, it may not be worth your spending time on it. I really appreciate your help but don't want to use up valuable time that could be better spent elsewhere.
