As I am devotee of Goddess Durga, I am used to tell this Mahishssura Mardini Slogam
on Friday, Tuesday during Raghu kalam. If we keep singng this storam on Friday,
Tuesday, Sunday during Ragukalam, we will get blessing from Durga, all our worries
will disappear.

Can any one of tell me how to tell other strotras, when to tell them and how to perform the pooja i am mean the pooja rituals and the tradition behind it. i want to teach my daughter the strotras and the details of bhagavathgita. hope i have conveyed the message properly.

Unfortunately that book has been lost recently and therefore I am searching Malayalam version of this great prayer. Please accept this comment as a suggestion or request. My uncle who is a Pandit or prohit and having a ragavendra swamy mutt of his own have suggested me not to read mahishasura mardini at home.
Since it was not mentioned in Madhwa Shastra anywhere. There is no Ankita in it. Please do not mistake me for this suggestion since we have discussed lot about madhwa philosophy i have written this. Not to hurt any readers or followers. Kindly let me know your feedback on this.

Mahishasuramardini stotram is based on Devi mahatmyam in which Devitakes the forms of Durga, Lakshmi and Sarasvati to slay Madhu andKaitabha, Mahishasura, and Sumbha and Nisumbha respectively. Thisstotra is said to have been composed by Ramakrishna Kavi about whomno details are available.
