PN People Activity: next meeting (Connecting Late Antiquities, May 20)

Dear colleagues,

The next meeting of the Pelagios Network's People activity will be held online next Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 11:00 BST. (Check link for your timezone.)

This session will involve a brief introduction by Charlotte Tupman (University of Exeter) to the Connecting Late Antiquities project, which uses new digital methods to transform our understanding of social relationships at the end of the ancient world, including XML encoding and Linked Open Data for prosopographical entries. We will then discuss issues arising from this presentation, and think about implications for the LOD People activity, potential interactions and interoperability, etc.
