Genitive plural

to Ancient Greek Best Practices
I can't find a discussion that admits that the genitive plural of the third declension,  such as θέσεων, constitutes an exception to the rules of Greek accentuation. Am I wrong?

Is it an exception? It's an exception to the general rule of the law of limitations, in that the long ω should prevent it being on the antepenult. But this is how nouns in -ις generally accent. See Philomen Probert's A New Short Guide to the Accentuation of Ancient Greek, section 123 (page 65)
