I put together the following Koine Greek pronunciation trainer for my seminary students and thought others may find it helpful.

I have just updated it, so it may take 24 hours to reflect the latest update.

There are three sub-decks:

Learning pronunciation. This deck includes cards explaining pronunciation of Koine Greek phonemes based on Banjamin Kantor's research https://www.koinegreek.com/pronunciation. I have tried my best to stick to his pronunciation system in the audio recordings. I have also included the IPA symbols and my own audio recordings. Images for these cards are from https://pixabay.com/ and https://www.pexels.com/.

*My only quirk is that I pronounce rough breathing marks, although I have adopted Kantor's pronunciation system on the whole.

Minimal pairs. This deck tests minimal pairs based on the same pronunciation system. Two similar words are displayed and an audio file will play. You will say which word you heard and the answer side of the card will indicate the correct answer, playing the audio for both options. I found the list of minimal pairs at https://jonathanrobie.biblicalhumanities.org/blog/2018/01/12/minimal-pairs/ which is based on the work of Dirk Roorda. The deck format I used as the basis for this minimal pairs deck is from a Russian minimal pairs deck available at https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/82819757. That deck is inspired by Fluent forever's pronunciation trainers and uses Simon Lammer's Anki persistence script from https://github.com/SimonLammer/anki-persistence. All audio recordings are my own, but you are free to use them as you wish if you find them helpful. (I don't have the best recording equipment.)
Pronunciation practice. This deck is derived from deck 2. It will display a Greek word on the question side and play the audio on the answer side. You should try to pronounce the word aloud before listening to the answer.
