I have received the email below from OSISA including the the attached
notes from the meeting between the former board and the partners. I am
sending to you for your information and action. I have copied in Mr
Macbain because he was part of the meeting with the partners.

I will ask the Secretariat to help translate into French and
Portuguese and this will be sent to you as soon as the translation is
done.

ci-jointes de la rencontre entre l'ancien conseil et les partenaires.
Je vous envoie pour votre information et l'action. Je l'ai copié dans
M. Macbain parce qu'il faisait partie de la réunion avec les
partenaires.

partir da reunião entre a antiga diretoria e os parceiros. Estou

Dear Limbani,
I trust that you are well.

I am writing on behalf of the Partner’s Forum to share with you the
summarized minutes (attached) of the meeting held in Dakar on the 9th
November 2015 between some members of the Forum and yourself together
with some members of the outgoing board (as reflected therein). I also
wish to apologize for the delay in sending these through – we needed
to consult amongst ourselves before sending them out. I wish to
further thank you for having facilitated the meeting, which gave both
ourselves and ANCEFA an opportunity to have frank and constructive
deliberations. We hope you will pass on these minutes to the previous
and current members of the board – for the record.

I also wish, on behalf of the Partner’s Forum, to pass our
congratulatory message to ANCEFA for having successfully elected its
new board into office. We hope that the board will work hard in
advancing the vision and mission of ANCEFA in furtherance of the right
to and realization of quality education for all on the continent.
Please pass our heartfelt congratulations to the board and further
assure them of our commitment to a healthy and productive relationship
between ourselves going forward. This relationship, as the minutes
will show, will be guided by clear modalities of engagement aimed at
ensuring a partnership based on mutual respect and equality.

Lastly, I wish to inform you that the Partner’s Forum has requested
OSISA to be the focal point for communication between ANCEFA and
itself. This is meant to avoid the uncoordinated flurry of
communications between the parties, which tends to create confusion
and unnecessary email trail exchanges. This means that going forward,
we will structure our communication appropriately. We hope that this
will receive your favourable consideration as the best way of
engagement.
