Next EYF Meeting: December 2nd

Good Morning,

Because of the upcoming holiday, we are moving our regularly scheduled meeting to Monday, December 2nd, at 7:00 PM. I will send out an invite, link, and additional details soon.

Please join us as we host representatives from DC Public Schools, including Sarah Brashear, DCPS School Planning Manager.

This meeting will focus on the planning process for Euclid Middle School (formerly Shaw Middle School). Sarah Brashear will present the DCPS middle school survey results, timelines, staffing plans, and ways families can engage in shaping the school’s development.

Key Details:

• School Opening: School Year 2028 (SY28)
• New Feeder Pattern:
  • Primary Feeder Schools: Garrison ES, Seaton ES, and Cleveland ES.
  • Additional 'Sister School' Feeder Rights: Marie Reed, Tubman, and H.D. Cooke.

This is an important conversation for the families of Ward 1 and ANC 1A. Everyone's participation is crucial to shaping the future of this new middle school.
