Good afternoon, neighbors. Our Transportation and Public Space Committee meets tomorrow night (7pm at the Kaiser Health Center), and will have several agenda items of interest to our neighborhood.
First are the proposed changes to the Residential Parking Permit program, which have been released after more than a year of work/pondering/inaction by DDOT. This includes resident only parking. I've attached a summary of the proposed changes, and the notice of proposed rulemaking (comments due by October 10th).
In addition, also on the agenda will be the 501 H Street public space and traffic control plans. Chris Regan of Douglas Development will be in attendance.
Finally, DDOT has also proposed new rules concerning tree boxes. I've attached that notice of proposed rulemaking as well.
If you can't make the meeting tomorrow, feel free to send me your thoughts and concerns. You are also welcome, of course, to attend the full ANC meeting next week.
Best,
Chris
