	Beautification Day for Marie Reed Elementary School Dear RCNA Members, The Marie Reed elementary school is in need of our help.  The children will be returning to classes on Monday, August 27th, but the grounds have been allowed to collapse into a shameful state of disrepair.  So on Saturday, August 25th, we're making a push to get as many people as possible out to help pick up trash, pull weeds, plant new shrubbery, and get things ready for the kids. Our friends from Square 150 and across 18th Street in the Kalorma Citizens Association will be joining us, and we'll have people on the ground from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm.  Feel free to show up for all or any portion of that, and please ask your friends and neighbors to come out as well.  If you need a little additional inspiration, this short video is worth watching: http://youtu.be/pFs5vWxW-vc We hope to see you on the 25th!
